Transcribe and summarise conversations in Lifecare Family Care. Helps caseworkers stay present.

Quality in the documentation and quality in the conversation.
Built into Lifecare
Recording, transcription and summarisation are part of the Lifecare Family Care workflow and linked to the client’s case.
Caseworkers can work with the material in the system where their documentation already sits, using existing access permissions. This reduces the need for separate meeting tools, manual transfers and switching between systems.
Review before documentation
The transcript and summary are editable working material.
Caseworkers can replay the recording, check details and revise the text and headings. They choose whether to transfer the transcript, summary or selected parts to a document.
The material becomes formal documentation only after the caseworker actively saves or locks the document in Lifecare. The feature makes no decisions and does not replace professional judgement.
Designed for social services
The feature is initially intended for social services case management workflows and configured for Swedish.
It supports conversations with several participants as well as a caseworker’s own dictation.
Common social services terms support transcription, and speakers can be distinguished in multi-person conversations.
Processing takes place after recording, not in real time. The caseworker reviews and corrects the material before using it.
Capture what is said while you meet the person. Review the material afterwards and use it as a starting point for the final documentation.
Record a conversation with several participants or dictate on your own in Lifecare. The recording is linked to the client’s case.
Replay audio while reviewing the transcript. This helps you check details before using the text in documentation.
Create and edit a summary with headings. Choose whether to transfer the summary, transcript or selected parts to documentation.
Responsibility and data handling
Recordings are linked to the client’s case in Lifecare Family Care, and access follows the system’s permissions. Transcripts and summaries are stored in Lifecare. Audio is processed temporarily in Azure Storage within the EU/EEA and deleted after processing. The Lifecare recording is automatically deleted when the document is finalised and locked. The caseworker reviews the material and decides what to include in formal documentation. The feature makes no decisions. Each municipality is responsible for its own procedures and assessments of personal data processing and risks.
