KapitalKontroll and Tieto enter strategic partnership to drive growth in Norway and the Scandinavia

KapitalKontroll, a Norwegian fintech company specializing in receivables management and automated collection processes, has entered into a five-year agreement with Tieto Indtech in Norway. The partnership combines KapitalKontroll’s platform with Tieto’s communications and payment infrastructure, creating new commercial opportunities for both companies in Norway and across the Scandinavia.

The five-year agreement, valued at up to NOK 40 million, represents a long-term commitment to continued development and growth.

Through the partnership, KapitalKontroll’s platform will be integrated with Tieto’s Multichannel solution, which manages the distribution of documents, invoices and payment information through the customer’s preferred channel. The solution enables greater control, increased automation and more cost-effective processes from distribution to payment.

“The agreement marks an important step in our collaboration with KapitalKontroll. Together, we can offer businesses across Norway and the Scandinavia more secure, efficient and scalable solutions for managing customer communications, invoicing and payment flows,” says Bent Philipps, Managing Director of Tieto Indtech.

The partnership agreement expands the market potential for both companies. Tieto can offer KapitalKontroll’s platform to its own customers, while KapitalKontroll gains access to Tieto’s Multichannel solution and relevant invoicing and payment solutions, including One Invoice. The companies will collaborate on new customer initiatives and market offerings, with Norway as the initial market and the Scandinavia as a natural next step.

“Our collaboration with Tieto gives us a stronger technology platform and a clearer path to new markets. For our customers, this means more automated, secure, and efficient management of communication and payment processes. For KapitalKontroll and Tieto, the partnership creates opportunities for joint growth in Norway and, over time, across the Scandinavia,” says Anders Jakobsen, CEO of KapitalKontroll.

The agreement demonstrates how modern communication and payment solutions, combined with specialized technology for receivables management, can help businesses in both the public and private sectors achieve more efficient processes, greater control and increased automation.
