Business Challenge

Semperit operates in a complex enterprise landscape with many business-critical applications – ranging from SAP (both on-premises and cloud) to additional SaaS and internal systems. This led to a growing network of point-to-point integrations, each built and maintained differently, driving higher operational effort and increasing risk of disruptions. Solution & Business Value

Tieto Tech Consulting designed and implemented a centralized enterprise integration platform based on Microsoft Azure Integration Services.
The engagement began with creating an Azure Landing zone for PoC and the upcoming EAI solution. The Landing zone design is based on Azure Cloud Adoption Framework, which provides a company with a secure, scalable, and governed cloud foundation that accelerates deployment while reducing risk and operational complexity. Further, the Tieto Tech Consulting team introduced a proof of concept (PoC) to validate key integration scenarios across SAP (on-premises and cloud), SaaS platforms, and internal systems. After the successful validation phase, the client was satisfied with the proposed solution, speed, and quality of integrations, and our collaboration approach. The project was expanded into a production-ready integration platform implementation.
Over time, the scope evolved from initial integrations to a full build-and-run model, including continuous development of new use cases and structured operational support with monitoring, logging, and error handling.
