Do you want confirmation of your project management skills?
Is certification required for project managers in your organisation?
As a certified project manager, your chances of managing exciting and meaningful projects increase. The certification serves as a quality stamp for your knowledge and experience as a project manager and provides personal insights and time for reflection.
If you have experience working as a project manager and solid knowledge of the PPS model, you are eligible to become certified.
The certification is based on the PPS model and the medium-level project management framework.
Certification components
The PPS Project manager certification is conducted remotely and consists of two parts:
- Part One: You will receive 30 multiple-choice questions. To proceed to the second part, you must answer at least 24 correctly.
- Part Two: You will be given two open-ended questions, your written answers are assessed by PPS certification reviewers.
Prerequisites for certification
To begin the certification process, the following requirements must be met:
- You have worked as a project manager for at least 6 months within the past 2 years. Random checks may be conducted to verify your experience.
- You have completed the PPS training program for project managers or the course PPS Project Management – The basics of Project Management.
We also recommend refreshing your PPS knowledge with the course PPS Refresh Project Management.
