Tromsø municipality has transformed its case and document management by deploying Public 360° in the cloud. Through automation of key workflows and seamless information flow, the municipality has significantly reduced manual work, increased operational efficiency, and freed up valuable resources for higher-value tasks.

The challenge
Parts of the workflow—particularly related to housing loan applications through the Norwegian State Housing Bank—were previously manual and time-consuming.
Caseworkers had to print documents and send them for manual registration, creating inefficiencies, delays, and risk of errors. At the same time, the municipality needed more flexible and standardized processes to support collaboration and remote work.
The solution
This is a platform for for case management, records management, and document handling. The solution integrates with external systems, including the Housing Bank’s application portal, enabling automated document capture and processing.
Standardized workflows and browser-based access allow employees to work efficiently regardless of location. The solution is widely used across administrative units and is now being rolled out to additional sectors, including health and education.
