Helping ComHem reduce operational costs

ComHem previously managed its IT systems with internal experts and vendors. The set-up was cumbersome, and service was only available during office hours. We joined forces to help solve the problem.

The case

About 1.8 million Swedish households are connected to ComHem’s network, which offers a wide range of TV channels, HDTV, on-demand TiVo and broadband.

In order to cut costs and improve service availability, ComHem sought a single supplier and turned to us for assistance. ComHem wanted to maintain direct contact with customers, while we took care behind-the-scenes with services and support. We needed to manage and develop over 20 systems and applications with 24/7 service availability.

We're delighted to have won the contract and count with 55 full-time staff providing more than 100,000 hours of support and services per year. More than 90 percent of the operations are handled from our offshore operations in India.
