As a vendor-neutral managed security services provider, we ensure you get the best possible security products and services for your needs, drawn both from our own innovative portfolio as well as our large partner ecosystem of market-leading names and disruptive new startups on the market.

Today, organizations are challenged to keep up with the accelerating pace of change in information security. With increasing numbers of employees demanding remote access via both professional and personal devices to data and applications through the corporate network, IT teams face a multitude of complex tasks in ensuring employees can gain secure access to both internal and external web applications. Through the deployment of Identity and Access Management solutions, organisations are able to manage the authentication of users, ensuring that the right people are able to access, using single sign-on, the applications and data in different clouds as required by their roles.
"The importance of information security in the modern world has grown exponentially. That is why Tieto has founded an internal start-up to provide information security services. We work in active collaboration with market-leading solutions providers and are pleased to be able to bring Dell One Identity solutions into our ecosystem. Dell offers us something special in terms of identity management. We were looking for a modular system that we could easily integrate into our own service offering, right down to a pricing model that scales in accordance with usage. And so we were able to build a package on top of the Dell portfolio. Our package is highly adaptable to customers' varying requirements and it can be delivered quickly," says Markus Melin, Head of Tieto's Security Services start-up.
"The addition of cloud services represents a unique challenge to information security within an organization. Identity and access management plays a key role in modern organizations that are beginning to utilize cloud services by ensuring that access to on-premise and cloud-based data is secure and easy for all authorized employees to access, regardless of the device they are using. Tieto is a superb partner for us – they have a strong foothold in all of the Nordic countries and we approach the IT security development path in very much the same way," says Dell Finland's Software Sales Lead, Petri Ahveninen.

Tieto launched an internal Security Services start-up to help customers to combat modern cyber attacks in the increasingly complex IT security environment. Tieto Security Services is actively forming a global ecosystem of partners to bring the best new technologies and solutions to the fore for clients and has now announced a partnership with CySec – a Finnish start-up that delivers state of art solutions to support forensic cyber crime investigations.
CySec’s world-class product will be incorporated into the Tieto Security Wall service, providing customers with a better understanding of the past by recording network data and making it available to be studied. This is extremely important in cases where a new zero-day attack has been found and recordings of suspicious activities are vital to understanding the impact of the breach. Furthermore, the recordings will provide solid evidence of things that happened in the past, making it possible to prove what has taken place.
“Tieto’s Security Services have been developed to secure the digital operations of enterprises and public sector organizations. One of the key challenges for organisations in the security arena is not only to monitor current activities but also record and verify actual breaches. With this feature in Tieto Security Wall, any organisation can now record and store data,” says Markus Melin, Head of Security Services at Tieto.
The new feature will be added to the Tieto security service known as Tieto Security Wall, which offers Tieto’s customers unique real-time services that provide transparency and information, as well as a recording capability. As a result, customers will be able to monitor their digital security at any given time and also record activity to provide information to help manage security.
“Diagnosing something that has happened on a network months previously has been very expensive and cumbersome due to the procedures for storing evidence. Only a few super powers have had the capability to record all network data for weeks, months and years. With the ground-breaking solution that is incorporated into Tieto Security Wall, we can now offer visibility to any organisation in a way that ensure that legally solid evidence against any intruder is secured for forensic and court processes," says Juhani Kallio, CEO of CySec.
The Tieto Security Services start-up will actively team up with other market-leading solution providers to create an agile worldwide security ecosystem in order to provide the best service and reliability for the benefit of our customers. The Security Services start-up has previously announced collaboration with Dell.
