As the biggest IT vendor in the Nordics we get to work with the biggest and most interesting problems. We are working to alleviate loneliness and loss of control for senior citizens. We are helping pregnant women and their partners take more control of their pregnancy. We are using AI to help case handlers and managers make better decisions. We’re proud of our work and the positive impact we have on people’s lives.
You will sometimes hear a Guten Morgen or get an improvised Finnish lesson while on the train to a meeting. We love when people on the team are from different countries. It spices things up and adds important variety. We work distributed and have sites as diverse as London and Kuopio. We go where the talent is and are flexible about the location. We meet each other face to face regularly and of course cooperate on projects together.
There is a gender imbalance in the tech industry and we are not happy about that. Currently the d|lab is 45% women and we’re really eager to improve on that. Besides that, but not less important is our work in female healthcare. Our female colleagues have an active role in shifting the focus in IT towards matters that are important to them, but have been neglected in the past.
