On October 12th 2018, Tieto Compliance Cloud renewed its validation of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) certificate for its Infrastructure-as-a-Service services. It is now compliant with the latest PCI DSS version, 3.2.1.
PCI DSS is a security standard that all organisations including online retailers must follow when storing, processing and transmitting their customers' credit card data. Led by VISA and MasterCard, it aims to give a robust standard to enhance payment card data security.
The certificate covers all the major platforms, both IBM Power (IBM i and AIX) and x86 Virtual and Physical (Windows and Linux) IaaS. The validation has been done by Nixu AB, one of the leading Qualified Security Assessors (QSA) in the Nordics.
“We see this certification as an important part of the puzzle to be able to meet our customers’ demand for security and compliance, which is a strong trend in the finance industry. With Tieto Compliance Cloud, we can support regulations like GDPR and PCI DSS for our customers, allowing them to focus on their core business instead of regulations and compliance. In the past year, we have seen increased demand for our solution and security services, which proves that we have a competitive solution that solves one of our customers’ main challenges”, says Daniel Björklund, Head of Tieto Financial Services Risk and Compliance Solutions.
Market leader in Sweden, Tieto Compliance Cloud offers a future-proof platform, ensuring compliance to their customers today and tomorrow.
