Tieto’s Product Development Services (PDS) division delivers software engineering services and products which foster innovation in our customers’ products. We are aiming for a market-leader position in growing Automotive and Internet of Things segments.

We continue to expand our business in Automotive sector and we want to strengthen our team with a Senior Sales Manager who will contribute to revenue growth towards the car manufacturers and Tier1s suppliers in Western Europe. The position will report to the VP Automotive Sales, who is based in Paris.

The candidate will be based in Tieto offices in Regensburg (in-between Munich and Nurnberg) or working from home-office ideally in south part of Germany.

WITH US YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Driving sales to selected key customers, and for selected products, services and solutions,
  • Accounts management and planning,
  • Generating new business leads, arranging meetings and workshops,
  • Responding to tender documents, writing proposals, reports and supporting presentations,
  • Working in tight cooperation with the product owners, delivery/engineering teams, and other internal partners and suppliers,
  • Representing Tieto and our offering in meetings with customers and partners, conferences, industry related events.

WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of sales in B2B environment, with solutions and services related to automotive software,
  • Solid understanding of automotive value chain, supply chain and emerging technologies, especially in Cockpit/IVI, ADAS-Safety and Cloud/Telematics,
  • Good contact network within automotive market (OEMs, suppliers,...), ability and willingness to reach out to new customers,
  • Ability to identify and interpret trends and implications, and apply this knowledge to support customers,
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information,
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills,
  • Convincing presentation and value proposition articulation,
  • Fluent in German and English (ideally German as mother tongue),
  • Engineering/Business school graduation or university degree in engineering/business.
