Industry Software

At Tieto Education we create IT systems that make everyday life easier for students, parents, teachers and school administration. We offer a broad overall solution for education that covers all types of schools and roles, from preschool to adult education. We facilitate learning for millions of people in the Nordic countries with our products and business expertise. Tieto Education consists of approximately 250 employees, of whom approximately 100 are located in Skellefteå. Sweden is currently our largest market, but we also have many customers in Finland and Norway where we are in an expansive phase. We strive to be a partner to our customers and through our products and business knowledge contribute to the design of a smarter school. E.g. then we are currently testing a solution at Anderstorp's upper secondary school in Skellefteå with facial recognition as attendance registration. Please see the link below where our design manager Fredrika Ling talks about the experiment in Svt.
