Tieto to provide Cloud productivity solutions for enterprise customers and public sector
“We are excited that customers in Finland, Sweden and Norway will now be able to benefit from Tieto-hosted Microsoft business productivity software-as-a-service through a private cloud environment,” says Mark Hill, VP Enterprise Partners, Microsoft. “Through this agreement Tieto plays a key role in Microsoft’s vision of providing customers with cloud services, hosted in customer’s, Tieto’s and Microsoft’s datacentres.”
The solution is based on Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010, Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, Microsoft Lync 2010, Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V and Microsoft System Center, and coupled with the rest of Tieto’s enterprise productivity cloud services. This allows Tieto’s customers flexibility in building the cloud transformation roadmap with unique data security and control capabilities, including in-country data centers. It provides a secure and easy way of business productivity - all delivered with the benefits of the cloud, but with regulatory compliance and flexibility.
