Tieto Future Office becomes a trademark

Tieto’s digital workplace concept ‘Tieto Future Office’ has been registered by the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Markets. Achieving the trade mark acknowledges Tieto as a thought leader in the field of social business and enterprise 2.0.

Tieto Future Office is the social and commercial media inspired workplace. It adopts the effectiveness of social business and motivates employees to participate and to show the same behaviour and involvement at work that they show in the social media space. The concept delivers services that provide support to employees and role or group specific services that incorporate communication and collaboration elements.

Philipp Rosenthal, Solution Area Director at Tieto, comments. “We’re now in the process of creating the first blue prints of social businesses – where business operations and the socially inspired collaboration and communication aren’t two separate islands anymore.
