TietoEnator has implemented a personnel management IT system based on SAP HR software for insurance company Pohjola. The system project constitutes a part of the personnel management development program in Pohjola. Pohjola utilises the system for the competence management. It will be taken into production in phases, finally covering the whole Pohjola's personnel.

 

In the development discussions the competences of individual people will be documented to the system. This forms a data base that will be utilised in personnel planning, personnel development and personnel reporting. The IT system will make the internal labour market work better. It also supports career and successor planning.

According to her the IT project succeeded well:  "Vital for our project was that TietoEnator could combine our wishes and possibilities in SAP HR software. Together we have developed Pohjola's personnel management processes. TietoEnator also took care of the knowledge transfer of the system to us."
