Tieto (founded 1968) + Enator (founded 1995) = TietoEnator (1999) -> Tieto (2009)
TietoEnator was formed by the combination of Tieto Corporation in Finland and Enator AB (publ) in Sweden on 7 July 1999. On 26 March 2009, the AGM decided to change the company name to Tieto Corporation.
After the merger the company has strenghtened its expertise of the chosen industries for instance by the following acquired IT service companies and outsourced IT units:
