The advantages of the model are tapeless work flow with efficient metadata structure to support automated transfer and management of data. The centralized model produces media asset management (MAM) services cost-efficiently for all supply chain parties.
Through the service model, Media Gate enables both content producers and broadcasters to reduce their technology investments and their technical environment management costs. It is possible to combine several functions to serve the whole value chain, e.g. content transfer and transcoding, QC, translations, subtitling, dubbing, TV program info, time-coding, storage and archiving of content, contract management, invoicing and funding services etc.
