Tieto to exhibit at Sibos event in Amsterdam, 25-29 October

Tieto will participate at Sibos 2010, Amsterdam, 25–29 October. Sibos has grown into a yearly forum for the financial industry to meet, discuss, learn, do business and keep in touch with what is going on in the sector.

The Sibos event is facilitated and organized by SWIFT, a member-owned cooperative that provides the communications platform, products and services to connect more than 9 000 banking organizations, securities institutions and corporate customers in more than 209 countries.

Market changes, new regulations and the call for efficiency and growth are driving the financial industry players to seek increased value through IT. During Sibos, Tieto’s spokespersons will present and lead discussion on the latest developments in a number of areas: 

  • Throughout the week from 4 – 5.30 pm: Mobile Lab. This collaborative ideas-generation Innotribe lab is co-hosted by Ville Sointu, mobile internet services offering development director at Tieto. 
  • Monday 25 October from 4 - 5 pm in Conference room 2: E-invoicing: The need for interoperability between banks and non-bank service providers. Co-hosted by Bo Harald, head of executive advisors at Tieto and chairman of the EU expert group on e-invoicing.
  • Wednesday 27 October at 10 am, Open Theatre 2, Zone C: Mats Wikström, director of transaction banking at Tieto speaks about the Emerging opportunities in the corporate to bank space. 
  • Thursday 28 October at 9 - 9.45 am, SWIFT stand. Markus Hautala, digital transformation and consulting development director at Tieto, participates in the discussion: Increasing e-invoicing network reach through SWIFT – banks and non-banks joining forces.
