M-real, Metsäliitto and Metsä-Botnia sign a three-year IT service agreement with Tieto

Metsäliitto Group has concluded a new three-year IT service agreement with Tieto. The deal also involves M-real, Metsä-Botnia and Metsäliitto Osuuskunta (Metsäliitto Cooperative). The contracts will be signed on 3 December 2009 and take effect on 1 July 2010.

 

"The deal is a good indication of how new technology and the right approach can result in innovative and cost-effective solutions that benefit the customer. The contracts we have signed will significantly increase Tieto's market share as a supplier of IT services in the industrial manufacturing sector," comments Tieto Finland's Executive Vice President, Ari Karppinen.
