TietoEnator co-operates with Sydkraft to realize the paper-less office
Sydkraft will be among the first in Sweden to completely revert to electronic invoice handling of supplier invoices. With this solution called Instant Invoice, Sydkraft takes a real stride closer to the realization of the vision of the paper-less office.
All invoice handling will be outsourced to TietoEnator, who scan and interpret the invoices mechanically and then present them via a so-called web interface.
– The users approve and sign the invoices completely electronically and never need to see the real invoice, says Roland Wester, MD of TietoEnator Energy.
Thirty companies
Instant Invoice will be implemented in practically the whole of the Sydkraft Group and the planning has already been started. Sydkraft estimates a considerable increase in the effectiveness of their administrative process by using the new system and will, in addition, achieve improved quality in the handling.
The contract with TietoEnator covers the entire handling chain for Sydkraft’s supplier invoices. The objective is, during a four-year period, to handle at least 1.5 million supplier invoices electronically.
The introduction will take place successively during a 12-month period and Sydkraft sees in the long term, exciting expansion possibilities when the system can cover the entire purchasing process, that is called electronic commerce.
The handling completely complies with the new requirements that the accounts committee places on the handling of supplier invoices.
Tailored solution
Instant Invoice is based on e.Fact which is a market-leading product for the handling of supplier invoices. TietoEnator has broad knowledge in this area within several different companies.
– We have tailored e.Fact to Sydkraft and built a concept which also includes the scanning and interpretation of supplier invoices, says Leif Friberg, Marketing Manager of TietoEnator Energy.
