Siikalatva healthcare district in Finland has chosen TietoEnator's Effica solution as their patient information system. The regional healthcare district includes the town of Haapavesi and the municipalities of Kestilä, Piippola, Pulkkila, Pyhäntä and Rantsila. The goal is to further develop regional customer-centered operations and digital services as well as to improve service quality and increase efficiency.

 

Effica has already been implemented in Haapavesi, Piippola and Rantsila. Starting from January 1 2005, Haapavesi will produce healthcare services for the entire region, and a common patient information system will be implemented.
