The Swedish Board of Agriculture and the Swedish Board of Customs and Excise replace parts of the paper flow with an electronic process. For that reason they have chosen to use TietoEnator and the program product DocTrade SHS. Installation and training will be carried out during February and operations will start some months later.

 

The agreement with the Swedish Board of Agriculture and the Swedish Board of Customs and Excise follows the decision by the judicial authorities that communication and transfer of information between operational systems shall be effected according to the Swedish Government eLink, SHS. Since SHS offers a general handling and information transfer over Internet, and since many organizations already use SHS for handling input and output data, costs for information transfer can be considerably reduced.

 

The first transfer within the scope of TietoEnator's agreement will handle export allowance and is done from the Swedish Board of Customs and Excise to the Swedish Board of Agriculture. The Swedish Board of Customs and Excise will further on use the solution for integration and transfers to other authorities. The Swedish Board of Agriculture will also successively evaluate the needs of integration with other authorities.

 

Among the judicial authorities are the National Swedish Police Board, the Swedish Board of Customs and Excise, the Swedish Prison and Probation Administration, the Office of the Prosecutor General, the National Courts Administration and others.
